The Consumer Reports write-up didn't cite paper coffee cups, so I presume they're ok, although the article does cite grease-resistant paper plates. I don't have any exposure to the wrappers and holders used by fast-food restaurants and deli counters.

Regarding PFAS in clothing, the article says:

...try to limit the use of other products known to contain PFAS, including water-repellent clothing....

Does this include Capiline polyester and similar fabrics? If so, I have a problem since I often wear such garments as the base (or only) layer. I presume that microfiber outerwear is not a problem since it doesn't come in direct contact with the skin.

There's not many packaging items that don't have a degree of reusable materials in them. Ink's have a high PFA content so you can assume that almost every non virgin item has a pfa rating.

Remember when reusable was a good idea? Pick your poison.
