IMHO the buy back SAVES SOMEONE a LOT OF SHARES they may have to buy in a TENDER OFFER somewhere down the line, at today price it only take 3.16 bill to buy COOP OUT RIGHT.

WE PAID 2.7 for NSM and WHO BACKED THAT LOAN

SO today ya can buy NSM and COOP for 3.16

What a BS, COOP acquired Residential Portfolio of Community Loan Servicing some days ago, including 500 employees, did you miss the PR?

They want to sell cone to increase book value and have more cash to burn on buybacks, I hope they [color=red]stop wasting money on buybacks but instead spend on growing the business[/color]. They cannot maintain a $3B market cap. In the end no more Xome, great book value, and share price which is all that matters to us — who knows.
