It’s a request for production of 23 paragraphs of particular, described Amarin documents served on Amarin counsel Fish et al by Health Net counsel. Details are not visible to me currently.

In a lawsuit where the complaint survives dismissal, the parties engage in a process called "discovery", which involves requesting documents, asking written questions which are answered under oath (interrogatories), and taking oral examinations of certain key witnesses under oath (depositions).

The term "discovery", means that the parties seek to discover certain relevant information from the other side, and then use that information to strengthen their case.

After discovery is completed there is usually a motion for summary judgment seeking to dismiss the case as a matter of law without a trial. If the case survives summary judgment, then it goes to trial, unless the parties settle.
