Friday is the "settlement date" for shorts to officiently report to/via finra, it won't be reported for 2 weeks after that, let's revisit this and see when "official" numbers are reported. Settlement date is t+2 but actually t+3 in reality, sooo that puts tomorrow's ish or wednesday as the actual trades. Let's see. Either way, life is good.
X. Folks they have sold shares not owned by them and some day they have to cover. You see to short 100k shares they must put up 1/2 that in dollars. 100k shares times 10 bucks at 50 per cent is $500k, they get a margin call when it's at 30 per cent. Many, many many of the shorts are now under water.
