#206374 RE: BullNBear52 #206371

Then it's clear that he doesn't want to discuss pipelines in the US or any other energy supply from his country exported to the US. I can't even see the discussion without Canada's political connection.

Nothing can be discussed on how to build, maintain, the involved policies, where to run that pipeline, permitting, leasing, or supplied. No process will advance, no impact reporting can be discussed, no projected cost estimations, and a slew of other things without involving the political landscape and the corporate connection to that landscape.

Any energy company, especially big oil companies wouldn't even be what they are today if wasn't for their continued expense of millions and billions over time that is paid to the political landscape. Who they pay, what they pay for, determines what can be done by those companies and how it effects financial statements. It also determines now what effects it has on our personal lives, what laws are made or followed, what policies are made, and who makes the judgements. Everything that lives under the political landscape that has in a very big part been created by these big oil companies and the political machines connected. What they want to do, plan to do, where they do it, and how they do it, and what it costs us greatly effects our lives due to the political connection between the two. So cry me a river, would ya.

So that leaves anything that could be discussed on the subject of energy pipelines and supply with no validity and not dealing with the reality of the subject. Plus you really only have a one sided Putin type discussion. So good luck with that being anything constructive. But I won't discuss anymore about it to him, or address the subject matter directly to him, or even discuss oil subject at all if that's what you want.

I'm not sure what the heck that kind of discussion is doing on a "Just Politics" board or public postings that can't be responded to in a valid manner. Maybe should go to or create a board that can tip toe around any connected political discussion if that is what one desires.

Your board BnB, I'll respect it, you obviously can have the last word if you care to. I've finished my rant and expressed my views. I'll leave it at that and consider the subject settled. Just don't really understand why you named the board "Just Politics". Kind of confusing.

Is NG safe? We've got some big changes and a lot going on there right now in that industry, but it also involves a lot of politics and geo-politics and it too will be effecting our lives more in the US in the near future, at least indirectly if not directly. Wells, pipelines, imports, exports, environmental and economic issues that have very similar subject matters. That energy source doesn't have as much magnitude as the oil industry as a whole, but it's moving up very quickly to one of front burners.
