That is why I could never understand the argument that BP was waiting for the Du decision before making a move on Amarin. They are so much more skilled in handling challenges that they would have more than likely gotten a different result.

While it takes (at least) 2 sides to make a deal, this was 100% on Thero. Tens of billions of dollars were at risk.

Has he done everything possible to make a deal?

While we won't know the answer, we know for a fact that he didn't throw 100% into fighting the trial (statistician / Bhatt paper).
