Arachnodude: “One thing is for sure, KBLB continued down its path towards sustainability.”

One stumble after another. I’d liken KBLB’s progress to a drunken sailor who falls down, passes out, wanders off, finds his way back to the path, takes a step forward, shoots himself in the foot, backtracks, then makes another step forward. That is how KBLB has ‘continued down its path towards sustainability.’ Are they close to achieving their next modest goal of a metric ton per month? Hope so. Equipment installed and factory workers trained? Hope so.

I seem to remember you claiming all KBLB needed was a ‘contract to produce’ and sales would ensue. A year after just such a contract was signed and we still don’t know if KBLB has sold any silk. They shipped some to Spydasilk, but no idea if they got paid for it. Where was that $250k the contract called for?

Does the path towards sustainability ever lead to that happy outcome? I hope so.

The binding contract is the substance of things hoped for assuming both parties entered into it knowing that mass production was certain thing in their hearts and minds. I believe that is so. .. so, also, in this situation, there are time constraints for fulfilling that promise or it may become mute point if it takes too long. .. 2022 sb the year… but then 2021 should have been too. We can’t be talking about this same scenario in 2025.
