Sure, it was the only technology item called out specifically for PDKs by Lebby below.

The usual. Blind optimism without any grounding in facts or reason. The optical grating couplers PR literally said this:

"We are working on additional design tool kit components to further simplify this process for our foundry partners and look forward to providing further updates."

How in God's name you can consider them the last piece of the puzzle when the PR literally says "we are working on additional design tool kit componentS" is utterly baffling.
