They're very helpful in putting theories and speculation into their proper context

there is a lot of territory where the feature could be drilled and end in the Gulfslope block. The good news is they will have a lot of leeway to avoid the shallow section “gumbo” zone which caused most of the Tau-1 problems. They will also certainly have the special drilling package for handling high-pressure, soft-rock conditions.

For anyone who's interested, the latest Valaris conf call has some comments on the "very constructive environment" for increased exploration spending

Also, at about the 21:30 mark, delayed startups for jackups, the 144 starting a new contract late in the 4th quarter, and "idle time between contracts due to delays on the next contract" specifically mentioning the 144
