#31953 RE: Phantom Lord #31952

I do not think you quite "get it." If the pancreatic trial is what determines partnership then everyone should sell this. To score there is to be a blindfolded marksman. And those that believe this company under PH can do that are as plentiful as new cars sold today at a discount to msrp.
And with certainty it is that you can almost guarantee that most bios rather build than sell early on, because for sure that's not in effect what their goals largely are.
Rather, most developing bios do exactly that - develop. It is the market way of division of labor. BP won't speculate. That is left to the ones with with little caps.
There are only three covid vaccine companies today that are in the news. At the White House, unveiling Operation Warp Speed, there were no less than 3 times that amount. Where are they today? That's right, not big enough to be in the spotlight though they have the goods.
You're going to wait for BP to come to you? What makes you that special?
Is Peter a pseudonym for Phantom? If so, get on the road and get this done.
If not, still, get the message across. Get on the road and do not return without a vote of confidence from those who matter.
Shoot with what you have. AML. Not with a distant trial yet to be designed, yet to be financed, yet to produced.

Howdy Phantom, I'd like to say something about "partnership", and if you haven't read it yet, maybe your opinion on my post # 31959.

A few decades ago, I remember several very small biotechs that were going with (let's call it) plan B, which was NOT doing it by themselves.
One company that stands out in my mind is Seattle Genetics (SGEN). I remember looking at their very early pipeline and they had like 6 or 8 different trials going, all were early Phase 1 trials, and Every One of them had a partnership deal with different players involved. That was their gimmick, pay for as little as possible with our own money.
Yes they made less profit, but all those much smaller profits that added up to something was paid for (mostly) by someone else.

It may not be the most common thing in the world, but you really don't have to wait until you are 90% through your Phase 3 trial before you can get a partnership deal.

If raising more money at these low prices suck.
And a complete buyout at these low prices suck.
A partnership seems to be the only thing that makes sense.
