Before ww3 can start Putin has to get thru Ukraine first. The odds are very good that Russia will be in control of kviv and the entire country in the next 3-5 days and replace the current President with a puppet president. But after that the Ukrainians will fight back with everything they have. The Ukrainians know who they are have and survived unimaginable hardships going back to Stalin and his man made famine he opposed on them that literally killed over 5 million people and they will be 100% unified to kill as many Russians as they possibly can, and if they can hold the line in Ukraine then this war will be contained meaning it’s not going to be the cake walk he expected. There is only two ways from there that ww3 can start, the first is if he blows thru Ukraine and goes after any nato country all of whom have nukes, or he launches a nuclear attack against us. If that happens the us will completely blow them off the map and war over but life as we know it is over forever and the wild card in all of this is China, if they get involved it really could become ww3. Let’s hope cooler heads prevail.
