Yes, but... I'm afraid that much of what they now believe goes beyond the idiocy Trumpty dreams up. He was surprised when they booed him for saying they should get the COVID vaccination.
In short, they're crazier than he is. At least the hardcore MAGATs are. On the other hand, though, we've recently seen some relatively important Republican politicians make a point of distancing themselves. I think more--though probably not all--will do the same, should Trump continue to go on about his admiration for Putin and his desire to invade Mexico.
But it beats me how all this will work out in the end. Will most of the populace eventually regain their senses? I certainly hope so, but really, who knows?
