It took less than 24 hours for Sen Rick Scott to backpaddle on his "genius" tax plan and offer two caveats. After getting blowback on his plan to raise taxes on everyone, Scott clarified "what he meant"...NOW the new tax would not apply to seniors or those who are not, as he put it, "able bodied".
