I guess I have always been a little confused why the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) would not take the lead of approving Anavex 2-73 prior to the FDA. When I started following Anavex it appeared that Australia was practically the only place where Anavex Trials were ran.

My other concern is, if, everything is so positive in Australia with Anavex why wouldn't the Compassionate Special Access Scheme(SAS)be discussed more. If I am only 50 years old had have been diagnosed with alzheimers and I don't have access to a trial I would certainly be screaming for Anavex 2-73 via SAS. Especially after all the safety data that is available. So I am skeptical that Kertz from down under really has a pulse on Anavex 2-73. I am hopeful he does, but nothing ever seems to get approved.
