I don’t know. How time critical do you think it is?

I would think the greater you think the climate crisis is the sooner you would want to see success in the fuel cell technology as that would be the easier path to decreasing carbon emissions than recharging a battery hooked up to to the existing power grid.

Perhaps both techs can co-exist if the power grid could be improved by greener power production without the concerns with life-threatening brown and blackouts in the grid!

I would think rebuilding the existing power grid so that it is 90+% truly green instead of 90% brown would take much longer than building a new green hydrogen infrastructure
