Robert, I am sorry the name did not mean anything to me. However, I googled him and see where you are going. In particular I read his statement from March. That statement has five key points that anybody would agree with:

1. Effective climate protection can only be achieved through the intensive use of technology.

2. Industrialisation needs the right timing.

3. The future of our planet demands circularity.

4. Digitisation serves humankind.

5. Growth will remain the most important economic currency.

he five statements above are almost like motherhood and apple pie. However, the way he elaborates on these five points leaves much to be desired. For instance, under 1 he says: "This will require industry-wide networking". Since much of the EV industry has government backing, I see this point as a recipe for disaster.

His elaboration on the second point is an absolute lie. He says:

"The success of a technical invention depends, first, on the ability to industrialise under highly complex conditions and, second, on finding the right timing.

These two factors, combined, determine whether an innovation gains traction in the marketplace. Physical industrialisation will remain valuable to society, even in the digital age – especially, as the two merge into one and result in progress." He does not say (because he cannot) that it takes a risk-taking genius to introduce the right product, and also that there is NO right time!

His third point is basically about reducing the use of raw materials:Every time we think about using raw materials, we should ask: How much do we need and what do we want to use it for? Are there better options? What he does not say is that Elon and Tesla have been doing that from the start.

Digitization the way of the mainstream auto makers is doled out in small doses; heaven forbid that we introduce some technology at the wrong time.

His fifth point applies to Tesla in spades. Without growth a business or a living plant is doomed to disaster. Without even trying too hard, we delivered more than one-third of the cars that GM did last year. WATCH OUT!
