Wonder if this mentality will bleed over to any of the other European countries. Sales ramp in Germany slow and now we have to worry about lack of reimbursement in other EU countries. Market now appears pretty smart for not assigning much value to the EU. We don’t have much left.

Ohmyfucking god - this group is saying V should not be covered by the UK health care system?!? How in hell did AMRN screw this up so badly, and will other countries follow suit?

I found this in the consultation PDF and couldn't believe my eyes:

STRENGTH compared a combination of eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid, which is similar to icosapent ethyl, with a corn oil placebo.

They claim E is SIMILAR to IPE?!? WTF is wrong with these people? EPA+DHE is an apple and IPE is a kumquat!

Honest to god, I think we may be sunk in the EU if this MO bullshit keeps rearing it's ugly head - what happened to all of those EU health groups who enthusiastically endorsed V? Their opinions don't count when it comes to how much is this going to cost us? Is it possible the unexpected delay in China is related to the MO controversy? I'm so steaming mad about what I've read here in the last half hour I think I may be better off staying away - I suddenly have this sinking feeling that I'm not going to even recover my costs in V stock - and my avg. basis is only $6.50. The best goddamn CVD drug invented in 25 yrs and AMRN will go down as the biggest post-approval fuckup in the last 50 yrs.
