Email to IR this morning urging clarification. Many do not read IBD.

Dear Clint,

Members of my family and I are long term investors in Anavex with very large holdings, acquiring over the last 7 years. We were all very disappointed with the handling of yesterday's Retts data PR. Although the data was excellent, it was left unclear why or when the updates were made to the Clinical Trials database. This left a wide opening for the process, endpoints, and company integrity to be questioned and attacked.

We would like to urge Dr. Missling to release a PR from Anavex clarifying what happened. A statement on the company website and to IBD is insufficient. My parents, who have a large holding of Anavex in a trust account for their grandchildren, had to call me yesterday to ask what was going on. They do not frequent message boards or read IBD. Like many average investors, they mainly rely on PRs from the company and the news feed from their brokerage accounts. IBD headlines do not appear in their brokerage news feed. Without a clarification PR, many will be left in the dark and confused about what's going on with their Anavex investment.

Dr. Missling needs to issue a PR to clarify when and why the changes were made so that the average investor in Anavex has access to the information. Transparency is important and investors should be given the courtesy of clarification.

Thanks for the try ckent, seems your well worded letter fell on deft ears. Misslings response was in an IBD article. How many shareholders read IBD ? I would guess much less than 5%. CC doesn't cut it for the same reason, very small percentage of shareholders tuned in, again probably less than 5% of the total shareholders. Stock board readers are a small minority too, I think we posters sometimes forget that.

Obviously, in fact very obviously, Missling should have issued a long detailed PR this morning. He choose not too, and here we are continuing the slide down into deep red territory. Thanks again ckent for your effort, you were not the only one.

No PR...don't engage with AF as it's a lose, lose preposition. AF has a huge platform that he will use just for spite. There's no upside by bringing more attention to the situation. AF is a dirtbag - screw him.

Missling has done enough and I'm fine with it for now.

Time to move on, learn from this mistake and execute these trials successfully.
