If they had all the CV results they need , Vascepa would not have a Level B evidence rating It would be level A ....like statins To get to a level A evidence rating requires are relatively large independent randomized Outcome trial to confirm the results of R-IT EVAPORATE and CHERRY are supportive but are not large enough or Outcome trials
The CV portion of MITIGATE closely resemble the US portion ( in numbers ) of R-IT ...and they will hope to match the PCI, PAD, CABG results seen in R-IT ...where the event lines separated early .
The CV part of MITIGATE is the best chance we have of lifting Vascepa to a Level A evidence rating IMHO
