For those who may have missed this bombshell, Dr Bhatt confirmed last night what some of us have been 'speculating' here for a while. When asked by a cardiologist it can be assumed that V and gV have similar efficacies, Dr Bhatt said:

I am first waiting on some studies by my colleague Dr. Preston Mason to see if there are biological differences present or not between the formulations.

I then asked a friend expert to shed some more light and here is her reply:

Implied decreased efficacy without substantial data could lead to lawsuit from company of the generic. So, he/they are most likely waiting for a) data b) analysis c) writing manuscript d) publication—> generally in that order. It takes a while.
