So you’re saying that anytime someone posts words about a public company, that it’s illegal, and the person should be charged with some type of securities violation? Even when the person explicitly says DO NOT BUY THIS STOCK BASED UPON MY TWEETS? And his opinion is that the company could possibly go into bankruptcy? That’s illegal? Wow, you better fire every stock analyst on Wall Street, they write opinions about stocks every day on the internet as well. You know, the people that say a stock is a BUY, SELL or HOLD?
Well then, we better shut down Twitter, StockTwits and IHub too if that’s against the law.
Step back a little and look at what you’re saying from a legal perspective, not an emotional one. This whole ihub board is one of OPINION. People are allowed to offer opinions here, whether they agree with your opinion or not. Same for Twitter, StockTwits and the like. And just because someone offers an opinion, it doesn’t mean that you MUST ACT on that opinion. If you do, that’s your own fault.
