Care to elaborate on how perkinamine is a substitute for rare earth elements? Seems like apples and oranges to me but I’m fairly ignorant in all things tech. I was under the impression that REEs were primarily used in batteries, wind turbines, and military applications, and that this bill was designed to jump start a domestic REE supply chain.
