One can't argue BOTH that the TA knows where all shares are to pay a divy AND that the TA doesn't know where all the shares are to know that there are naked shorts!

If there are 4-5 billion synthetic shares and the float is 750 million, there would be quite a few people not receiving dividends. Better to do a proxy vote and send proxies out to people that own stock. Get a share count that way.
