jay regarding the AP max results (and thanks so much for doing that work/expense)
below is a cip patent that includes Fe-Cr based bmg.
the patent describes metallic weaves and lists many possible bmg formulas/compositions.
no doubt any bmg ‘feedstock’ formulas listed are not exclusive for use in the patent description

regarding the johnson/apple fe based in-situ alloy it only comprises a max of 8% Cr

speaking of cip the johnson/apple patent above.
games posted that it was amended (see #10 in red) and that it is under the CIP umbrella.

was that part of the apple investment deal with the chinese government???!!!
