Josh already answered this. Apple doesn't own the trademark in Japan, therefore Li capitalized on this so he can use the Liquidmetal brand in Japan. Can it help us? Perhaps peripherally. But I still think we are held hostage by Apple. Li is trying to sell product for us without them, but it will be a long road. This is why TC has the two lockups for his stock options. $1 per share in two years (no Apple) or get company listed on exchange (Apple uses us).
