If the company can get a licensing deal done or some real sales figures prior to the RS the RS ratio will be lower. So the company has opportunities to lessen the impact of an RS.
My problem with an RS is not the value. That should remain the same or go up if the institutional investment comes through. My problem is that is is much harder for a stock to go from $4 to $8 than it is for a 40¢ stock to go to 80¢. In each case that is a 100% increase in value.
Delgado seemed to indicate that there was two paths to getting to the Nasdaq. He didn't say much about what the first path was. I'm gusses it would be some sort of merger. Anybody have thoughts on that?
