I've owned three hybrid electric Chevy Volts. I always traded them in before the warranty was over because all electric cars are as much experiment as transportation. When Chevrolet discontinued the Volt I went back to a standard ICE vehicle. I'll watch the electric vehicle show from the sidelines for a few more years. If BBB is passed as currently written there will be a comedy and tragedy of errors as auto makers trip over themselves to rush electric cars out the door and collect the profits.

And to complete the trifecta of stupidity they may-as-well make all electric cars available with no down payment, full recourse loans. That sure worked out well with education in the US.
