I really don’t have a dog in this fight.

But, the journal is sitting on sensitive information from the moment it receives the manuscript, which we know is a protracted period of time until approval. So not sure if that’s a valid argument that they’re behaving like this is a hot potato. And anyone that has organizational experience understands that any strings can be pulled based on who’s asking for the string pulling.

Those that are old enough to name the Oakland Raider’s starting lineup from 1965 are aware of how the world works.

FYI: I can’t name the starting lineup, but have seen plenty of exceptions that would blow your mind.
