Stop being so quick to jump to being defensive. I'm not attacking Northwest.

The purpose of it was for them to be able to produce DCvax. I don't disagree. What I disagree with is the poster that said that they would not have gotten certification if DCVax was anything but a guaranteed approval. The certification was not based on DCVax with that regard. The regulators do not consider the results of the trial when looking at the certification. To imply so is absurd.

Yes, they got the certification so they could product DCVax-L. Yes, they can also produce other drugs. No, they would not have been denied the certificate if approval of DCVax was unlikely. Those two are not connected at all.

I think it gets approved in the UK. I think the certification boosts that likelihood. I can think all of these things and still disagree with the statement that certification proves approval is a done deal.
