#427746 RE: learningcurve2020 #427742

As I see it we're in a Catch 22 situation with the quiet period. One of the other posters indicated that once a trial ends a quiet period is supposed to occur until TLD is released. While a simple TLD statement could probably have been released many months ago, the company recognized that it would leave them open to short attacks as many questions would go unanswered, it determined to wait for a Journal, though it typically takes over a year. Catch 22 pretty much explains where we are.

A Journal isn't concerned with our situation, they'll go to print when their peer reviewers are completely satisfied with what's being stated, a week or month sooner or later doesn't matter to them. Dr. Liau, who should be the lead author wants to be acknowledged for her work, but she's working on many things, getting the Journal published may not be her highest priority, it will be done, but the time she can spend on it in any given week is limited.

In reality, even the company's highest priority isn't the Journal publication, it's the preparation of the BLA. The approval by the regulators is based on the BLA, not what's said in the Journal. As an investor, we all want to see the trial results, but we too should recognize that approval is the name of the game, can we blame the company for making it their highest priority.
