The market does not look back sure if you think they can just stack 28x4, 50x4 how about 50 x 16 devices with drivers,,,,,to get by today, but sorry,, the stock market looks forward.

Silicon Photinics is Maxed out, that material was great, but you can not make it do its magic faster, it can not go faster than physics allow,, that is why the todays testing devices work for them.

Lightwave has maxed out the speedometer of the latest testing equipment, period full stop. I picked up the testing device turned it over and looked at it, then it was serial number 2, they had 3 on the way.

I know I shouldn't believe my lying eyes.

I can not help Intels vision of the future, a quick google search though will show that they were sleeping for years, coasting. They do not like that Lightwave will use foundries and any company will be able to order directly from the foundry. Who knows who might order it from the foundry? In the past Intel controlled the IP, not so with this, its called and end run, Intel controlled this market but um, if anyone can order a chip with LWLGs magic, um, who will control 3 times the speed using half the power. I guess you are right Intel is not looking to triple the speed

X good luck.

I think someone like Amazon will take this over, just saying.

"I do know that whatever they eventually do will likely come from their own labs and it will be a design for manufacturability effort."

Unproven. LOL

Maybe you'll see how ridiculous this claim is.

If everything comes from Intel's labs, why have they made 97 acquisitions?
