By all means shareholders can keep rubbing their hands by the dumpster fire and gleefully talking about what it will feel like when the ship comes in and how the guilty will be punished and the just rewarded and the truth will prevail and the scoffers put down and the true believers vindicated.
Thoughts of riches and revenge can keep one warm, even as the shorts and management and everyone else drive by in their luxury cars and the poor man is still on the corner with his ramen. But reality starts to seep in as the years past and the cold wakes up the arthritis in the bones.
