Pharmacia take over - eplerenone

This is an example of a drug being buried by BP after a merger? Here is the timeline:

PFE bought out Pharmacia in 2000. Inspra(eplerenone) P3 trial, EPHUS study results , was still recuriting at the time.

Recruitment ended Dec 31, 2001.
Last patient evaluation (trial completion) was August 20, 2002.
Database lock is unknown, but sometime after Aug 20, 2002
TLD PR'd Dec 2002
Full results published March 2002.
Approved by FDA in Oct 2003
Launched in Jan 2004

So that is BP slowing it down?
