I've often advised considering the geography of scams. RNVA is HQ'd in West Palm Beach. 20+ years ago WSJ and NYT warned about the scams that gravitate to the Ft Lauderdale/Boca area. And Santa Monica used to be a red flag locale. There are a number of others. Generally, avoid Vancouver!
