Tutes buying in, most likely, with MOC orders. The mm’s shook the tree to acquire shares for them. There is no significant reason for funds to rebalance at end of November and it is not OpEx balancing. Minuscule open option interest this week and it’s only Tuesday anyway.

For one who occasionally waxes prophetic about wash trading
the volumes cited should seem rather familiar.

Ultimately the Market will "settle" on a price on which
both sides can agree.
