It is hard to know when we are not privy to what has been going on behind the scenes.

We do know that when that very first story about a behemoth buying Aurinia came out, management came out immediately and batted that down. Later when the Bloomberg story came out, management did not deny or confirm, but said ‘read between the lines’.

It seems there definitely has been some interest but how far along did the process get to who knows. Could be the parties are far apart or maybe they are waiting for full 36 month data (although some here have opined that the company already has that data and would have shared it with prospective buyers).
