Micro, I agree that sort of thing can be unsettling - I mean you don't see BigTech using "Red Chip" and other low-brow PR outlets for exposure. It smacks of desperation, like they were trying to rope in desperate and inexperienced retailer investors.
But keep in mind that was three years ago. And since then then MRKR seems to be trying to do the opposite - they seem to be trying to act like a much more professional company.
Especially since they became independent of Baylor, made major insider purchases last spring, started their own PIII for AML, started their own CGMP facility - AND made major changes to their web site (for better or worse) which at first glance seems more professional - at least to me, but I am ignorant of this stuff bc I have never been involved in this side of research;
Maybe others can chime in here.
I am working on a post and if my brain remains stable the rest of the day I will share. FWIW, it's probably not worth holding your breath for. In fact, if you are into intoxicants, maybe put more time into those for the next few weeks and less time watching MRKR :).
