You may or may not have been on patrol for an incident that I witnessed.
I'm up in the nosebleed section with my free ticket, way out in left field, and someone smacks out a home run. There's a kid 4-5 seats from me, he's got a glove just for this exact moment that he's been hoping for.
But he effed it up, didn't catch the ball with the glove, got it straight in the eye.
I still remember the sound.
I helped out a bit, not much I could do. Hopefully the kid got his home run ball afterwards.
Going blind in one eye deserves some kind of reward.
