Thanks Spartex, i agree it is a great video. The problem with it is that people think it’s a long way out or a bit hard to understand.
I do know to create an omniverse or metaverse a motherload of data needs to be processed. And it has to be able to render real-time graphics. Datacenters alone won’t cut it I’m afraid. These servers are build on a CPU basis and are not ideal to render images. So will DC’s move more to GPU’s? Not likely, imo
When Lebby told us a long time ago that he sees a shrinking footprint for DC, i tried to understand what that could mean.
From what I understand is that the people will become the network. Through our laptops, iPads, iPhones we will be able to render a lot of data alongside the datacenters. It’s really like what George Gilder predicted ‘life after Google’. I really should continue that book.
