Yes, trading can create gains but with all the transaction costs and high tax charges for every small gain, it just never turns out to be as lucrative as those who do it claim. But it can generate immediate income. Better to have a few companies and a portfolio than just one, though if you pick the right one, it could work out. Often it doesn’t for one reason or another. I have had those stocks as well, the ones you noted. I noted and apparently tipped off many friends about TSLA very early, but focused elsewhere. Some of my friends have gotten very wealthy on my tips and are grateful.
