I feel sorry for those who sold for a Major loss. I would sell for a small loss if I could, but won't sell for a $5K loss. Which is still a small loss to me dollar wise, but not percentage wise, at one time I was way ahead on this one and had as much as $30K on this. This is a weird situation. Was this company a fake from the get-go or was this a real company that just went quite. Because it was in China, does that mean the money is gone? The company never talked of bankruptcy. Was this a scam from day one? If not, when did it become a scam? Can the ticker be bought as a shell and then do the existing shareholders value become worth anything. I've been in stocks that acted like this that most thought were dead that never had any revenue to show like IDGC, which became a 17X for many. I've also been in ones that shot up, after I got out at about even like CAFS, which could of been a 20X for some. So, I don't think it's wise to get out now unless some one is desperate for the Tax write-off. Remember you can use the Tax write-off for next year instead. I've made huge profits this year so the Tax write-off would be nice. If I lose money next year I would lose on the Tax write-off if this goes belly up too (as in removed completely from OTC), causing a forced Tax write-off. Of course I plan on making huge money next year on other tickers so not worried about that.
Bottom line this appears dead and may be for a year or more, but one day one never knows if the company comes out of incognito or if the shell gets re-bought. Was OMNI a fake or real - we will never know? Was OMNI a fake pump and dump, could of been?
