Your points are a poignant elaboration of my ridiculous sarcasm. However, I think everyone can agree, it (ELD device) either works or it doesn't and that is NOT open for 'learning' or 'interpretation.'
Been away for a bit but catching up to speed here. Couldn't agree more with your post. The testing parameters would be the same for all ELD's- either pass or fail?
Would ULTRACK like to lead us to believe that because they utilize a different platform the rules have been adjusted for them specifically? I find that hard to believe.
Or is the testing facility/person so impressed with the alternate platform and or added components to the software that they simply are taking more time to look at the ULTRACK version? I find that hard to believe also.
Still trying to wrap my head around Amazon challenges when ULTRACK claims to have such a complex and sophisticated ELD device.
