"Autism" is a broad category, or spectrum, of brain development disorders, with many underlying causes and pathologies. Similar in a way to "dementia", which are brain degeneration disorders. S1 agonism may be therapeutic in some, and we're exploring that. Hence the company statement that we are pursuing "neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders".
For people not experienced in biotech, it's important to keep in mind that no drug would be a magic bean to treat everything autism, nor dementia. Nor CNS in general, or sleep, or gut.
