He generally liked or commented on most of my V posts supporting V as an important treatment for CVD or it’s benefits as an anti inflammatory. I didn’t really ask him about the trials because I knew he couldn’t answer. My first big red flag was when I did directly ask if they were committed to going forward with PI3 in light of the absence of any indication the trial was recruiting. I got zero response. I expected some kind of vague deferral, which would have been reasonable but instead he didn’t say a word. He had always at least responded when I asked him a question.
For him to go back 6 weeks to a tweet I posted that received very little attention and post a like today tells me he was being extremely kind in reaching out to me to suggest I not get my hopes up over the weekend. He knows how much I wanted this to be effective, and not as a stock trade.
