Rett syndrome (RTT) is a severe and progressive neurological disorder, which mainly affects young females. Mutations of the methyl-CpG binding protein 2 (MECP2) gene are the most prevalent cause of classical RTT cases.

Likely that Blarcamesine and/or Anavex 3-71 can improve symptoms of Rett syndrome by activating the sigma 1 receptor and other receptors while inhibiting other receptors synergistically.

Blarcamesine and/or Anavex 3-71 will NOT CURE Rett syndrome.
