I too had a fairly large position thinking that the MTA ( Material Transfer Agreement) for Multiple Sclerosis testing by a big pharma could possibly result in a buy out of this little 7 person company at that time.



On that note, in AC Immune I noticed that they have a partner for every Ph2 trial in their pipeline. Here obviously rights to buy further shares if and rights to marketing are locked in for upfront $$$. Point is are they validated and their science “confirmed” because of the presence of a partner and is the opposite true in the absence of one like Biib? I dont believe so. Imo two thoughts that come to mind is AC Immune is operating from an old “weaker” position perhaps even one could say they are less confident in their science and want to spread the risk. The other thought is they are in it for the money from the buyout..

I will take Avxl any day over Ac Immune or even Neuren.
