I believe LP passed up/canceled SNO attendance last year simply because they couldn't provide a presentation or updates (blinded data lock). If they attend/present this year, it will be for good reason... with trial results. If that's the case, then TLD will have to come before or concurrent.

No problem about the correction and I gladly defer to one who is well acquainted with the situation. There just seems to be a really tight time window being created and underlying hesitancy to announce early is perhaps in deference to the need to under promise and over deliver as long as Covid resurgence, seen this past summer, was not a problem for the conference or the journal, or would become a problem for those attending. Don’t know the full rational but generally speaking you give a little more time for anticipation to build with a notable event along with planning for greater attendance by media outlets and potentially more interviews. I’m not all that concerned about what I see happening, though, because it seems to be well planned and thought out and because even if the timing does not work out I’m prepared to be in to the end.
