Who benefits from this (supposed) delay in paying accrued interest to escrow holders?

Total accrued interest increases each month on whatever assets remain... but who benefits from this supposed delay...????


I have doubled my money on my COOP shares (XX,XXX) and still (hopeful) that my P and U markers materialize with a payment, someday.
