Warner Lambert saw the results Pfizer was getting with Lipitor with the co-marketing agreement

Warner tried to get out of the co-marketing agreement and failed
Warner tried to get out of the buyout deal Pfizer worked out and failed.

Pfizer can get very aggressive in buyouts.
