1) Great question on per indication IP. No one has ever gone deep on this topic on IHub—like proper IP deep.
2) sure. AI is superior today and can probably find superior drugs—BUT, it takes approx 12 years from discovery through Phase 3. Brilacidin is typically phase 2+. However, back to your first point: the drug has been around for 15+ years—would need a proper IP attorney to examine all the nuances! Big Pharma does like to file crazy additives to old IP, but a true expert would need to see a) what does Ipix have that is current and how long b) what have they filed in the pending category 3) what’s off limits.
All this is moot if they don’t meet primary in Covid.
That’ begs the question on Covid IP…?
If they Meet primary who gives a rats arse about IP—the price should rocket and ceo can play IP attorney all he wants in the years to come.
